Three generations have worked the vines of Roncus, purchased in the 80’s but worked by the family for many years previously. They work from small plots, making single vineyard, terroir specific expressions of the Friuli landscape. Only indigenous local grape varieties are planted, and wines are made in accordance to regional traditions. Roncus wines have a very strong sense of place, and celebrate the rich history and terroir of Friuli. They work organically, and firmly believe that a wine is made in the vineyard. Winemaker Marco Perco is the current generation managing production. His undeniable skill and attention to detail has catapulted Roncus to international critical acclaim.
